St.Petersburg Classic Tour

On this five-day-long tour through Saint Petersburg, you will enjoy several different excursions that will introduce you to the most intriguing sights the city has to offer. This includes Russia’s most important political prison, the Peter and Paul Fortress, which imprisoned such famous persons as Tsarevich Alexei, son of Peter I, as well as the Hermitage, Russia’s top museum, where you will see a world-famous collection of art and material culture from prehistoric times to the present day. The museum boasts a fine collection of more than 3 million exhibits.

If you’re lucky, you might get the chance to meet a few of the world-famous Hermitage cats. A total of 70 of these furry inhabitants roam the basement chambers of the renowned museum.

At Tsarskoye Selo, which includes the Catherine Palace and its surrounding parks, the creations of Empress Elizabeth and Catherine the Great, you will see the famous Amber Room - a chamber covered entirely with panels of amber. After lunch in a traditional Russian restaurant, you will be taken to the Palace of Paul I, which is the opposite of the Catherine Palace in its interiors – a quiet and peaceful place. The tour will also include a visit to Peterhof and its many gorgeous fountains. You will be transferred there by hydrofoil on the Gulf of Finland – trust us, it’s quite an exciting experience!
